A Participan'ts View

The South American Model of the United Nations has proved, once again, to be a major success, and we believe that it is on the way of becoming a bigger one.

SAMUN always has stood for the principles of  tolerance and acceptance, and this year those principles stood out once again as the delegates listened to and evaluated the ideas and arguments articulated by the nations of the world.

This year we have seventeen Latin American schools in attendance: Escuela Las Americas, ECA, Colegio Internacional de Carabobo-Valencia, International School of Aruba, Escuela de Bella Vista, Henry Clay, CIPLC, Quality School of International--El Tigre, International School of Curacao, Escuela Anaco, Colegio Humboldt, Hebraica, Academia Washington, CIC, Institutos Educacionales Asociados--El Peñon, and Jefferson.

Jefferson’s presence is especially noted because large number of delegates the school sent.
