SAMUN an Informative Experience: An Interview with Mr. Amos Shamaki

By: Yumi Ochiai

For Mr. Amos Shamaki, the Nigerian ambassador to Venezuela, his first time experience of SAMUN was instructive. He said that SAMUN is a good and very informative program. He said that he loved and supported it.

At SAMUN, he added, there is a great chance to interact with people from other parts of the world, and delegates discover more about world politics by discussing world issues with other delegates representing other countries.

Mr. Shamaki pointed out that SAMUN helps to bring the world together, an action which is an essential step in the quest for real global unity: “The UN system is a very good mechanism for the world.”
