MOUSE, which stands for Members of the United Students of Elementary, is the CIC Elementary School student government. The purpose of MOUSE is to:
Representatives from each class are elected to MOUSE and from those representatives, MOUSE members elect the officers. See MOUSE in action and meet our members and officers!
Each month, we try to have a Spirit Day (see pictures from some of this year's Spirit Days), usually the last Friday of the month, in which the students dress according to the theme of the day (pajama day, twin day, etc.) and a MOUSE fundraiser, to raise money to donate to other causes and groups.
We have one final Spirit Day which will take place on the last day of school! Check out the photos here for the Spirit Days we've had thus far.

Fundraising Events
Thanks for all of your support of all our fundraisers this year.
We hope to buy some new playground equipment with the money we have raised!
MOUSE and Hi-C Party
This year, MOUSE members decided they wanted a bowling party. We had a lot of fun - I think the only complaint was that it was too short!

Getting the bowling shoes for everyone.

Students displayed lots of bowling styles!

Friends were there to help each other with their techniques.

Aitor had a little trouble getting his regular shoes on (or was it Mrs. Metcalf who was having the trouble?)

On the bus on the way back to school.

Campfire, April 18
We had our second annual Campfire in April. We had a lot of fun singing around the fire, roasting hot dogs and marshmallows, making s'mores and playing Shipwreck!

Mrs. Metcalf's scary story...

Playing Shipwreck! Salute the Captain! Soup's on! Climb the mast! Land ho!
Movie Night, March 7
Here are some photos from our recent Movie Night, when the library was transformed into a theater with popcorn, drinks, sleeping bags and pillows!
